Navigating Professional Competence

Professional supervision is a cornerstone of Social Work and Allied Health Practice.

Many are drawn to their profession by a strong desire to enact social change and help vulnerable people.  However, the reality of systemic constraints can lead to reality shock, disillusionment, burnout and early departure from their profession.

Supervision, via a reflective process, enables professionals toward greater self-confidence and competence to navigate the complexities of their roles and the ethical dilemmas posed by intervening in others’ challenging and traumatic lives.

Regional, Rural & Remote Staff

Lack of suitable supervision and mentoring arrangements while working in isolated, rural or remote locations can present unique challenges.

Online peer/clinical supervision and mentoring can provide support and alleviate the distress of these challenges
